| Breaking News |  | Marsh Bashes 6 Base Hits Wednesday, June 20th, 2012: Ghosts catcher,Scott Marsh, had his way with Idaho Falls pitching today at Mike Lansing Field and mauled them for 6 hits in 8 at-bats, but it was all in vain. The Chukars ruined his great day by outscoring the Ghosts 14-11.
He told reporters after the game, "I had a great day, but you got to give Idaho Falls credit, they did what they had to do to win the game. They weren't very impressed with my 6 hits after all is said and done. They did what they had to do -- win the game."
The Chukars skipper added, "Oh, I think we noticed what Marsh did today. He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."
Scott Marsh hit a two-run home run off Matthew Lane in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 9th, flied out in the 11th and hit a two-run double in the 12th.
